We buy postcards!
If you have a collection of vintage postcards to dispose of, why not contact us? We buy old postcards especially inherited collections. See below for what we're seeking and how to go about it.
What postcards do we buy?
We buy early 1900s postcards, UK only - both topographical and subject postcards. We do not buy overseas postcards at this moment. We are always interested to see old British postcards of towns and villages, in good condition, or military or transport collections.
How does the process work?
1. Get in touch with us, tell us roughly how many you have, what era they are, a brief description of what they depict and we will reply as soon as possible.
2. If it is a large collection, you can send them to us on approval for us to look through and determine whether or not we can make an offer for them. If our offer is accepted, we will reimburse the cost of your postage so you are not out of pocket. If our offer is not accepted, and we cannot come to an agreement, we will return the postcards to you at our own expense. NOTE - please do not send us any until we have chatted via email or message, and you have submitted a few photos. We will give you the full address to send them to, once we've had chance to examine the photos and discuss them with you.
3. Please note we cannot send payment for any postcards until they are received by us. Payment when made, can either be by bank transfer, or by cheque, whichever you prefer. We also accept donations of old postcards and promise to find them good homes with collectors, if you don't want anything for them.
